Shawn Michael Ellis

I was referred to DO Shawn Ellis by my Primary Care Physician (who is retiring) to help me with the transition of my pain medication and to discuss injection options to calm the pain from a recent 3 tier Spinal lumbar fusion. I received no direction or next steps. It was the worst doctor visit I ever had. Does not listen well. Likes to hear himself talk and has no compassion. He kept referring to me as a new patient which was incorrect, as he has done a couple back injections for me in the recent past. He said he was not taking new patients. This guy is a joke and would not recommend him to anyone. His clothing was way tight and was not dressed appropriately. From reviewing other posts, I, as well, have had chronic back pain for several years now and have had nothing but trouble getting pain medication from pharmacies and now doctors. They are either out of pills or won't release them until a certain day. They look at you suspiciously and treat you like a bad person. Now that my PCP… is retiring, I can't seem to get a Doctor to take overthe management of my needed pain medication. I am so exhausted and frustrated from all this drama, and I want others to know about this so my voice will be heard so change can occur.

Horrible to work with. Arrogant and has the personality that would make Dr. Mengele jealous.

Dr Ellis made me feel comfortable. Very informative and helped me work out a direction with my pain. The procedure was effective and has helped with my pain. Thank you.
