Dr. Shawn Phillip Lillig, MD

Great doctor, we had to find a doctor when our family physician passed away and tried a couple different ones. We didn't think we would ever find one that compared and then we saw Dr. Lillig, he listens and records everything so when you see him the next time he will ask how is this or that going... We always recommend Dr. Lillig, he is fantastic.

Dr. Lillig is a great guy. One of a kind. He’s not practicing to stroke his ego. Good listener and a funny guy. Very surprised to see people complain about where his office is and not completing disability worksheets. So, prospective patients, make sure to look up his address in advance. And to ask the office if he is open to taking time away from care in order to complete paperwork (however important it may be to you).

Dr. Lillig is one of the best general practitioners I’ve had. He’s easy to talk to and very relatable. He makes sure to answer all your questions and explains his reasoning for a particular treatment in great detail. Highly recommend if you’re searching for a new family doctor.

Great for a physical!

Dr. Lillig is a good guy. Although he isn't the most up to speed on alternative and holistic treatment, he is open-minded and practical. Within reasonable limits, he is there to help his patients. I noticed an earlier review regarding FMLA and disability paperwork. I understand that patient's frustration. However, this has actually become the norm in the practice of medicine. There are few physicians willing to complete this sort of paperwork without an appointment first. And, even then, often times physicians will not provide useful information on disability paperwork. I don't mean to excuse this practice, but it is reality. Liability and time constraints simply make it contrary to a physician's interest to get involved in this sort of thing.

Most unprofessional physician experience in my entire life. Lillig is very friendly unless you need paperwork filled out, then he turns into an unwilling and complete jerk. He had told me in one of my firsts visits to him that he did not care for filling out paperwork unless an appointment was made. I have had several occurrences of FMLA and disability paperwork that was required to be completed by my family physician. The reason I was seeing him was because my previous family doctor had retired. I even had more than one appointment where he wouldn't even take the time to talk to me face to face, either sending a nurse in or even having a nurse call me and tell me he would not be filling out anymore paperwork for me. Unbelievablely bad experience and I will be not only taking my family and friends to another doctor, the practice he is currently in will not see another dime from us.
