Dr. Shawn Douglas Speirs, DO

I am surprised by all the positive reviews Dr. Speirs has received. My initial experience with him was fine, but during a succeeding appointment he was passive aggressive and made insinuations. He may have maligned me to at least one other doctor, also. Over the course of a number of successive months, I convinced myself that I had completely misread the situation and remarks that were made (I couldn’t think of a reason for them), and went back to Dr. Speirs again. Almost immediately upon entering the examination room, he made a passive aggressive remark about my reappearance. When I later made enquiries, trying to finally find out what was going on, I did not encounter ready cooperation. I write this only because of the extent of Dr. Speirs’ unprofessional behavior; it ended up causing me problems and stress in other areas of my life.

Incredibly kind, patient, caring, and sooo easy to talk to. He makes you feel like your his best friend.

Dr. Speirs is competent, thorough, kind, compassionate, smart, and professional. He sees and treats the "big picture." He communicates well. His partners are also very good, so you don't need to worry if he's ever out of town. You couldn't ask for more in a physician. Highly recommended.

Very nice, great smile. Bedside manner is unbeatable!
