Dr. Shawn Franklin Underwood, DDS

Dr. Underwood is a board-certified orthodontist and has been in practice since 2001. He received his Certification in Orthodontics and Master of Science Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Prior to that, Dr. Underwood earned his DDS from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He is also a proud Aggie and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.
After being treated with braces as a teenager, Dr. Underwood knew what he wanted to do in life—become an orthodontist. He loves the uniqueness associated with each and every case and is committed to perfecting the end result.
Dr. Underwood is married to his college sweetheart, Tracy, and has two children, Trevor and Katie. He loves his family time. Other hobbies include playing golf, watching college football, and wakeboarding. He is a committed, giving member of the community and supports surrounding schools on every level.
