Dr. Shawn David Zeltwanger, MD

IF I COULD HIVE 0 STARS, I WOULD. My mother, a retired RN, has been battling severe back, leg, and nerve pain and sought pain management advice from Dr. Shawn Zeltwanger. From the start, he seemed rushed and uninterested. When she asked a simple question about epidural injections, he responded by making a sarcastic joke about the Super Bowl with his nurse, then dismissed her, saying, “She can answer any more questions. I’ve got three patients waiting.” This unprofessional, condescending behavior left my mother feeling completely disrespected and dismissed. Dr. Zeltwanger is not fit to treat patients in pain. Take your care elsewhere, like the University of Kansas Hospital, where staff actually care about their patients.

Very rude uncaring arrogant. Walked in said I’m not giving you medicine. I didn’t ask for it. I went for him to help with my pain and I got no help at all.

This doctor should be ashamed of himself. He is rude, arrogant, and extremely disrespectful towards his patients. How can he call himself a doctor if he refuses to aid people in need? I went with my mother to get an epidural for pain, which she could not have due to high white blood cell count. When I attempted to ask for an alternative plan of action he became irate and stormed out of the door, slamming it behind him. This is the second time he's done this to my mother. He obviously feels that he is superior to others and no one is worth his time. Do yourself a favor and seek another MD.

Was very through. He was very nice & informative. This was only my 1st appt but I'm so glad he didn't want to change everything my old doc ws already doing. He did make one change but he discussed it with me first. His staff was ALL very kind & informative. I'd highly recommend him even though I hate heartland health system/mosaic & I'm not easily impressed.

I have never in my life been treated so poorly, I was not helped and at the time no insurance so I wasted my money to not get treated. I was arrogant and rude and very inconsiderate of any pain you were feeling. What is the point if he doesn't do anything to help you. I was completely disgusted with his manner and his attitude and I would never go back to that clinic or recommend that clinic to anyone!!!!!! He didn't even spend more then 7 or 8 mins I was asking him questions as he was walking out the door.

WORST DR EVER, DIDN'T WANT TO TREAT ME AND KICKED ME OUT ONE WEEK BEFORE TAKING TESTS AND DIAGNOSING WHAT PROBLEM I COULD HAVE.

excellent provider. very kind and caring toward me. compassionate. would return.helped me alot with lower back pain. very knowledgable and excellent educator.

This Dr is way over rated. He is very arrogant and slightly unprofessional as is some of his office staff. He left me in pain after prescribing a pain mrd thst made me very sick and refused an other medication for my pain. I HA\\

Accused patient of using illegal drugs; lied about patients urine test results; made patient prove medications being reported.
