Dr. Shawna Mohney Deeves, MD

Dr. Deeves has been a tremendous help to me as I have been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. Her staff also treats me with courtesy. I ran out of medication one weekend and I called her number, because I went into crisis. Option #6. Dr Deeves called back within 15 minutes and called a 24 hour pharmacy to fill my prescription. Not a lot of Doctors will display this type of care. If you need a great Doctor, call her office.

Dr. Deeves is an amazing Psychiatrist. She has never made me feel rushed and has always taken time to listen to me. She seems to genuinely care about her patients. I have nothing but good things to say about her and her staff.

Dr Deeves is a disappointment to psychiatric care. Her office staff never answers or returns phone calls, therefore she is unreachable and unreliable. She does not take ownership of her shortcomings, instead she places blame on her patients. She cancels numerous visits due to her own illnesses which places patients without care. If an individual is searching for continuous and courteous care, Dr Deeves will not provide and is not recommended.

Dr. Shawna M. Deeves has been the best at finding the medications I need to function in all areas of my life. I have depression, severe anxiety and insomnia . I was in a very bad place in my life. Dr. Deeves got me all the help and support I needed. I am doing well at work, home and church. I felt safe talking to her. She is always there to listen . I have my life back thanks to Dr. Shawna Deeves. I got tested to find out my diagnosis and worked with her to get the medications that were right for me. She really cares about the whole person. She is the best Psychiatrists I have ever had ... and I have been through many. I highly recommend Dr. Shawna M. Deeves to anyone in need of help with their mental health. Dr. Shawna Deeves has helped me find the right prescription for me, we have had to try many prescriptions and adjust prescriptions to see what works best and everything and she has been so much help, and is always super easy to talk to.

I've been seeing Dr. Deeves for the last 2 years. She's helped me feel more empowered and like I have my mental health under control. She's a great listener and jots down notes during the appt to keep accurate record. I do feel like she genuinely listens and is thoughtful with her responses. She's up to date on what research suggests about different medications and has helped me feel more informed when deciding on medication. I don't feel 'steered' to use one medication over another, like I've felt in the past with other doctors. She's awesome and I would highly recommend Dr. Deeves.

I highly recommend Dr. Deeves. As a patient I feel it important to work with a doctor who listens to her patients' concerns. Dr. Deeves is very knowledgeable about pharmaceuticals and also explains how the medications she is prescribing work; therefore it has helped me to have confidence in her ability to take care of my mental health needs. In my case she advised that she would like to see me add counseling to enhance my treatment. I’ve been seeing Dr. Deeves for over a year and she has been so kind and empathetic. My life has been a rollercoaster over the past few years and she has heard quite a bit of it.
