Dr Shawna L. Weisler, MD

I have been seeing Dr Weisler for many years..it is always a joy to spend time with her. She tends to your medical needs and then really connects with you. It’s like visiting your best friend!

Tried 5x to contact the office. The staff doesn’t EVER answer the phone and never returned the call when I left 3 messages. How does she stay in business with this front office staff.

Dr. Weisler is a solid medical professional. I have been seeing her for a few years, and give her full credit for good control over my Type 1 diabetes as well as my overall health. I hope she never stops practicing.

I set up an appointment with Dr. Weisler after hearing she was a researcher and spent part of every week doing research. Turned out she was what I call a, "One Size Fits All Dr". She only wants to tell you what drug she thinks you need, rather than have a discussion with you. I tried and it angered her. She said I should take insulin. I explained, insulin makes you fat and one of the principals of Diabetes is to loose weight, so how would getting fat help. She became perturbed and short with me and ushered me out. My opinion is she is a licensed drug pusher for the pharmaceutical houses. I learned nothing new or anything that would help my condition except where the exit to the office was.

She was uncaring and did not listen to the fact that the dose she started me on was too high. Her response was, " it works for many of my patients and we don't know how long your thyroid has not been functioning and that is the price you pay when having children. Very insensitive and left her years ago. I see she is still the same so no reason to try again.

Dr. Weisler has a very cold bedside manner. Her staff is THE rudest staff I have ever encountered. STAY AWAY!!!!

Not a good doctor and what makes her worse is her terrible staff. They made me cry on my birthday for not knowing how to do something with my insulin pump. She makes you feel stupid when her job is to help you feel better. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT SEE HER!

OMG the worst staff that I have ever seen. They treat you like you are no one, I have left several massages for the doctor to call me and she never responded to me. I use to get call back from Dr. Herself after my blood test but recently she is not calling herself and her idiot staff call me and she was so rude. I told her I am pregnant and in unstable situation and I want to talk to doctor herself and her stupid staff said you were thinking on switching to another doctor and doctor wants to know if you are going to stay with us or not. I yield back at her .... I was so angry. I told her I am paying you and your stupid doctor she better treat me or I will complain to my insurance. She hang up on me.... Don't go to this doctor. Her staff are bunch of distispectful people.
