Dr. Shayna Rubin, MD

I have been going to Dr. Rubin for over 10 years. She has been kind, caring, informative and patient. She answers my questions and has a great bedside manner.

I've been seeing Dr. Rubin for about 5 years now and I have not been happier with a dr. She is very caring, thorough and always seems to remember any issues that I have had in the past and asks about them. Her follow-up is great and she always returns my calls if I have any questions or concerns. The office staff is another story. Mainly the front desk. The service I receive from them is either great or just plain shoddy. The last visit I had I called in the morning to confirm my times to see Dr. Rubin and get an ultrasound & was told everything was fine. I get there and they completely forgot about the ultrasound, until I reminded them.Other than the front desk, I have no complaints about any of my appts with Dr Rubin or with the nurses and/or medical assisitants.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin's for over 5 years. She is absolutely fantastic. A very caring physician who is extremely knowledgeable and personable. My only complaint is that her office staff can be a bit abrupt when scheduling an appointment.

I felt Dr. Rubin was not very concerned with me as a patient or a person at all. I felt like I was someone she wanted to get in and out of the office as quickly as possible. I don't like when doctors treat you like a number $$ instead of a human being. Very long wait and very busy, fast-paced office. I would not recommend her and I have changed to a new OBGYN.

I started seeing a different doctor in her office but ended up seeing Dr. Rubin when he was not available. She was completely professional, very caring and compassionate, and helped me through an extremely difficult medical problem that many other doctors and specialists had thrown their hands up at. She is just a fabulous doctor and I hope she stays in practice until I finish having kids (or start for that matter :) One gripe, is that the office staff is pretty terrible. There just isn't a nicer way to put that. Plus appointments are often hard to schedule and often canceled(but since she is an OB as well you pretty much have to expect that), and the wait time has never been less than 45 minutes (don't schedule a lunch appointment). But those issues fall on the office management not Dr. Rubin and she more than makes up for it with how great of a doctor she is. I'd recommend her to any of my friends and family.

Dr. Rubin's bedside manner is amazing. She went over my entire medical history with me in detail and I didn't feel rushed at all. She truly is a CARING doctor and I feel very lucky to have found her!
