This optional year in San Antonio, Texas provided him intensive education in general dentistry at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital.
Dr. Walkup is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association and presides on the board of the Toledo Dental Society. He has studied with many of the most renowned dental educators in the country and spends many hours each year pursuing continuing education to stay abreast of the latest dental technologies.
Dr. Walkup and his wife Stephanie have two children. They live in the Maumee area. They are regular members of Monclova Road Church and thank God for the opportunity to care for you. They enjoy spending time with …family and friends. They also enjoy boating, swimming, biking and serving others. Shea loves watching college football and basketball.
Dr. Walkup volunteers countless hours annually to Give Kids a Smile which is an annual outreach to provide dental care to those whom otherwise have no means to afford dental care. He also provides exceptional care to Toledo’s homeless population by volunteering at the Mildred Bayer Clinic.
