Dr. Sheila V Sagar, MD

Originally my primary doc, I left due to feeling uncomfortable with her cold, although competent demeanor. I always felt she was going thru the motions, even after years & years of my minor visits, that she was not thrilled to heal me. (But she LOVES my husband) Never felt she really listened or cared. Seems cold when she'd meet me every 3 to 6 months, for years. So I found a new warm, attentive primary who sadly moved away, so I returned to Sagar's practice. I would see 2 nurse practitioners for cholesterol meds. Today, forced to see Sagar for sinus infection-she coldly entered room, towered over me & chastised me. Saying, "I never have seen you in a long time. Have you been self doctoring yourself?!?" She took care of my physical needs but emotionally she was very, very cold, aloof, & I was left feeling worse from the encounter. The coldness continued til the end when she made a snide remark about my next appt already having been made with another in her office besides her. Her thin,… unprofessional skin does not warrant my return visit. Searching for a doctor again that has a warm heart!

Dr. Sagar has been my doctor for a few years now. She is a good listener. She is never in a rush but instead is very patient and encourages you to share with her. She treats me with respect and kindness. She makes me feel as if I'm her only patient and she has all the time in the world to listen to my aches and pains. She makes you feel like you are her utmost concern. She is very knowledgeable in her field. Her appointments are scheduled with time in between so that you don't have a long wait. Once you're taken to the back you don't wait very much for her to come in. She is very good and acts fast to refer you to Specialist.

Staff is poorly directed. No call back from doctors.

i would not advise my friend to her. t o many mistake, try to cover up ,until you catch her.spend most of my time correcting her error..i believe staff could be more courteous. more accurate spend in there health wise.staff not very well train in field .need to learn all health care so there no error on there parts,. if they except your health care ,they should know what they can do or not.so [patient not charge for it if all od this was improve she be a great dr thanks you

This was the worst experience of my life. Not only was the office staff the most unproffesional, disorganized mess, but the Dr. herself was no better. I have to say that I am soooo glad I did not go to this office for my personal yearly exam. They say things happen for a reason and let me just say that there was a reason!!! I would NEVER go here! Not even if I was going to die and she were the last Dr. in the world!! Horrible service. Might I add that I found a GREAT Dr. that cares about people. Also, because the office staff was so unprofessional she decided she would do my yearly exam and then sever the relationship with me since I was upset!! Upset...they had no idea why I was even there!!!!

Dr. Sagar has been my primary physician for over 6 years, since she opened her practice in Palm Harbor. She is the best primary physician I have ever had and would never leave her. She is an excellent doctor; thorough; caring; and patient. Her entire staff echoes her qualities and a visit to her office is something very pleasant to do. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
