Dr. Shefa Kani, MD

I had symptoms that weren't going away...swelling in my ears, nose and throat. And not minor, it was bad. She was the 3rd Dr. I saw at the hfhs walk-in clinic. She would not even listen to me and was very dismissive of everything I was trying to tell her (ie..the antibiotics and nose drops prescribed from the previous Dr's had no effect.) She basically rolled her eyes and told me "I see your tonsils are big but everybody doesn't have the same size tonsils." Lol. What!!?? I said "I understand that, but mine have always been the same size until recently." She didn't care what I had to say and prescribed nose drops for me..lol. Come to find out later the the swelling in my ears, nose, and throat were from stage 4 lymphoma..CANCER!! She simply would not listen when I tried to explain what was going on. She was the worst Dr. I have ever seen, and I would not recommend her to others.

i would never ever go back to this doc again. had the worse experience with her. my infant had a rash and she didnt even bother looking at it and just guessed it was infection. and only took1 min with us and just step out and didnt even say a word. she needs to learn how to talk to he pts

Doctor did not listen to me when I went in for a visit. Already had her mind made up with what was wrong with me before she came in the room. I'm now dealing with the repercussions of her actions.
