Dr. Shefali V Parmar, MD

This doctor was extremely unprofessional. She was demeaning about my weight and made me uncomfortable, often citing her personal experience instead of real medical advice. I am athlete, and she made several references to me having a “sedentary lifestyle” over quarantine. Very disrespectful, never going to this doctor again

I found Dr. Parmar very rude and unprofessional during my visit. She had problems in answering my questions, specially when questions were for 6 years old child. I not judging her ability as a Doctor, since I am not visiting her again ever in the future.

Totally condescending. Berates parents for being circumspect and taking a second opinion. Pushes to get expensive specialists visits which turned out to be quite useless.

If there was a rating below one star, I would certainly grant Dr. Parmar one! I had never encountered such a greedy and unprofessional doctor before. We visited her clinic for my daughter's annual checkup and, since our visit to India is imminent, we requested her to give her immunization medication- necessary for international travel. She made us take a separate appointment for "Wellness Seminar" (absolutely unnecessary, and not covered by insurance, a fact which she knew but didnâ??t bother to explain it to us), without which she would not give us the prescription. This seminar teaches about dos and donts in a foreign country. It cost us $150 out of our pocket to attend this seminar. Another disgusting point to note. My daughter was down with fever- and was coughing- when we went to see her for this seminar but she refused to look at her symptoms asking for yet another visit stating that it's a different consult! Medicine is a noble profession but doctors like her ruin the image of… doctors. I would strongly recommend everyone to stay away from Dr. Shefali Parmar.

Worst bedside manner ever. She is pompous and condescending, I honestly can't be live she works with children . I can't wait t find a new Dr........

We had a decent experience with Dr. Parmar, she had been our child's dr. Has been helpful and is ready to answer the queries but I think she lacks the ability to develop a rapport with the patient(child). For her profession it is necessary to be tolerant of kids which I think she lacks. I have also seen other physicians at cornerstone and think that they are much more experienced with dealing with sick kids and handling them .
