Dr. Shah was easily one of the most cold, brief, and not very good at hiding her lack of interest in being a primary care physician "professionals" that I have ever come across professionally and as a patient. Dr. Shah's bedside manner was non existent and as a young female physician I found this to be a mystery, I also found it very sad. As I was evaluated for a very obvious hacking viral/bacterial mucus filled chest infection, she proceeded to feel the swollen lumps around my neck due to my swollen and spotted tonsils with a response of "yeh lose some weight!" And while I am not a runway model, my neck was most definitely swollen due to my body fighting off an infection(this I already knew) And so i exited with an easily obtained 4 prescriptions and lack of that "feel good" sense of I've seen a physician who truly cares about the health of her patients and instead left ready to speed dial my insurance company to change my pcp asap. My professional / snippy angered patient… opinion having been in healthcare for several years, is that this individual was just not up to par when it came to residency and fellow options... thus she landed in Internal Med. and is clearly not a hometown doc which those GREAT Internal Med physicians exude from their souls. She belongs out of direct patient care and perhaps in a lab or research project some where.

Dr Shah an excellent Doctor. I have referred friends and family to Dr. Shah - they have also been very happy with her care and professionalism.

I was dumped by Dr. Shah as a patient before she even saw me because I was considering other doctors. Her conduct was unprofessional and uncaring. I would never recommend her. I work as a healthcare professional in the CHW system and was shocked and appalled by her conduct.
