Before you disregard this low review, read the full thing. I can honestly say I don't know how he got such high reviews unless he wrote them himself or used to behave very differently. I went in for a colonoscopy and met him for maybe 2min total prior to the procedure. He seemed to not care very much about me as a patient and it was a hassle to have the nurse get him so I could ask questions after I woke up. This shouldn't be an issue, it should be standard to speak to the doctor after the exam, but to him, he seemed bothered that I wanted to discuss the findings. Now to address the title. I've had 2 colonoscopies in the past, aside from rare colon inflammation, I am very healthy and do not suffer from any joint muscle pain normally. Hours after the colonoscopy I began having sharp lower back pain. This continued into the next day and was not improved with Tylenol. The nurse in the follow-up call told me she doesn't know what to tell me and I should just go to my regular… doctor. I did nothing strenuous or awkward after the procedure to cause this and in the past 2 colonoscopies I've had another facility, I had no issues. Additionally my symptoms became worse, though to be fair that might not be his fault. however, the back pain has not other explanation. So before you agree to let this guy and his team work on you, really look at your other options if you can. If you choose to proceed with this guy, I hope you have a better experience than I did. the only reason this isn't 1 star is because he at least managed not to poke a hole in my colon.
