Not knowledgeable about OCD or eating disorders. Even suggested eating disorders make some people happy and fulfilled, and doubled-down when I asked her to clarify. Shames you for reporting occasional cannabis use. Comes off as she knows best and isn’t interesting in getting to know you as a patient.

made me feel unheard. wait 4 months for appointments that would sometimes last 5 minutes before being fed more prescriptions and whisked out of the office. I would give 1 star but I realize I can be a difficult patient. go elsewhere

Treats patients for symptoms they do not have. Considers patients uncooperative and untreatable for telling the truth. Go elsewhere.

I was skeptical of any drug pushers, but anxiety and depression that was being treated by family practice doc wasn't helping. Dr. Alvi changed my prescriptions which worried me a lot, but I had nothing to lose. They worked! She also spent plenty of time with me and does on my rechecks as well.

If I could give her zero stars I would. She doesn't listen and gave me prescriptions I didn't want or need, and each time I saw her she continued to send these "PRN" prescriptions despite me telling her I didn't want them and wouldn't take them. She also doesn't understand what it's like to live on minimum wage. She could never understand nor made an effort to understand why I refused to see specialist after specialist. I tried to give her chance and I deeply regret it.

I was misdiagnosed and the adverse side effects caused by medication had been ignored for several months. After 9 months my adverse side effects were finally acknowledged however the symptoms were again misdiagnosed. The doctor treated me as if I had been lying to her the entire time and claimed that I failed to report my concerns despite the fact that my concerns were mentioned 4 times in my patient file. At the very least, this is medical negligence.
