Dr. Sheikh Shehryar Saghir, MD

Very rude, condescending and unprofessional. He would not listen to our questions or provide answers. Was very short and took over 2 days to call back while my father was in the hospital. When my father asked if Dr. Saghir would call our family to provide an update, he said "no" and walked out of the hospital room. When we finally did speak to him, I asked what the diagnosis was, and rather than answer the question he responded by saying that we should know the difference between diagnoses. It took several follow-up questions for him to finally tell us WHAT the diagnosis actually was. Due to the lack of communication, and inability to listen to our questions/provide answers, he made a very difficult situation worse. Horrible bedside manner.

My husband was admitted due to multiple seizures & this clown is the ‘Head’ Dr for this hospital. He refuses to let my husband leave with NO good reason to keep him except more $$ from the insurance company (BLUE CROSS PPO). KNOWING THAT MY HUSBAND CANT WALK WITH HIS CURRENT CONDITION & YET WONT PRESCRIBE A WHEELCHAIR FOR HIS WELL BEING AT HOME.HE IS DISRESPECTFUL & CONFRONTATIONAL BECAUSE IM THE ‘WIFE’ & CULTURALLY WOMEN ARE 2ND CLASS CITIZENS & HE DISREGARDED EVERY REQUEST I HAD FOR MY HUSBAND WHOM IVE BEEN CARING FOR 8 YEARS. SO I WILL ASK TOMORROW FOR HIS RELEASE WHICH OT ALREADY RECOMMENDED I TAKE CARE OF HIM AT HOME, SO I WILL BE DOING ANOTHER FOLLOW UP ON THIS RATING OF THIS SO-CALLED DR. BTW I ASKED THE NURSE TO HAVE HIM CALL ME & HE REFUSED TO DO SO UNLESS THERE WAS A 3RD PERSON AS A WITNESS?! ASK YOURSELF WHY?! CAN YOU SAY-LAWSUIT?! I GUESS HES NEVER HEARD OF A 3-WAY CALL. AGAIN IF YOU CAN SELECT ANYONE ELSE, DO IT, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

Dr Saghir was my hospitalist after surgery. Me has a great bedside manner and was funny. I'm going to switch from my current GP to him..

He made it seem like my wife's questions about her dying mother was really putting him out. He told her to 'hurry up' and that he had 'a lot of other patients.' she was just trying to understand what was going on with her mother and his rudeness and unprofessionalism made a hard moment a lot harder.

Saw Dr Saghir in the hospital as my hospitalist. Great doctor. Would love to use him as a primary care but his office is 30+min drive for me

This person is so conceited and self absorbed it makes you want to throw up. He is a naccessist fool who demands to be treated with the respect he does NOT deserve. Other doctors laugh behind his back.do not take a chance with this weirdo!!!
