Dr. Sheila R Reifle, MD

This is absolutely the worst doctor I have ever seen. If you're looking for a new doctor, you may want to read this. Where do I even begin? First, my wait was about 30 minutes in the waiting room. I waited over an hour in the patient room before the doctor even came in. When I asked where the doctor was, the staff seemed to understand my frustration and even admitted to not knowing why the doctor over schedules. I went in because I had a stomach virus with nausea. Dr Reifle ordered a chest x-ray, stool sample, lab work and a sonogram of my breast. The reasons that I was there were completely ignored as she seemed more keen on establishing me as a new patient rather than treating my symptoms. She gave me no advise on how to treat my symptoms or any medication, rather prescribed a lot of testing and sent me out the door. At check out, there was mass confusion on what to charge me even though my insurance card stated 20% of the office visit; no one seemed to know how much the office… visit was. It appears to me that this practice is more concerned with packing patients in like sardines and in profits than they are in people and their problems. When I tried to retrieve my lab work, they refused to give me results over the phone, rather made me schedule a new appt and pay another co-pay just to get my results. Since they don't make you pay until you leave, I was able to make my way out without paying a penny. Dr. Reifle was very unkept and her lab coat was filthy. Half the time, she was mumbling then would look up at me for an answer and I had no idea what she was saying. She was very rude and seemed to want me to diagnose myself rather than put her education to use and do her job. Save yourself a co-pay and a lot of frustration. Keep shopping for a new doctor.
