Dr. Shelby Joseph Cash III, MD

This doctor is incompetent. My elderly mother saw him with some very serious symptoms and he kept telling her she had a virus and dismissing. I called and threatened that he would do bloodwork and find the cause of her problem. He finally let her come back in and did bloodwork. He found a very serious condition that was seriously affecting my mother - losing weight, couldn't breathe, extreme fatigue. After dilly-dallying for two more weeks he told my mother he had never seen blood results like hers for this particular disease. Congrats idiot! It only took you close to 8 weeks to find a very serious disease which could have been found by a blood test after her first visit. What doctor does not order blood tests when a patient presents with very serious symptoms? An incompetent one. Now, she needs treatment right away, but cannot get into a specialist for 10 days. Meanwhile she is at home wasting away. This fool needs to have his license yanked today, not tomorrow. DO NOT GO TO HIM.

Dr. Cash is a fabulous doctor-he is very bright, listens well, looks at total health care picture & preventative medicine He is kind & I find that it is easy to relate to him. I am an RN & thus have worked with alot of physicians-he is a real gem.

Dr Cash is thorough and caring. The thing I like best about him is that he educates the patient about how to interpret test results and symptoms, so that the patient has a more sophisticated understanding of what is going on, not just "positive=bad; negative=good." He also is excellent at involving the patient in health care decisions, giving the pros and cons of an elective test, for example. I have recommended Dr Cash to several relatives and friends without reservation. If you like to be well informed, you will like him.
