Upon graduating, Dr. Johnson completed his residency in radiation oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute. After completing his residency Dr. Johnson served as radiation oncologist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Johnson has been with Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, LA since 1981 and served as medical director from 1986-2001.
