Sheldon Morris, MD, MPH

Dr. Morris is a very caring doctor who treats his patients with respect and honestly works to help them. I've been repeatedly impressed by his bedside manner, compassion and an understanding; he takes time to examine people directly, and talk with them, where I've had doctors who treat me like they are children who will catch Kooties if they touch me, or have been appointed by God. He repeatedly displays both caring and an understanding people with substance abuse issues are more than junkies looking for their next fix, and substance abuse is often only the small part of an iceberg visible on the surface. I have witnessed some doctors tell people with substance abuse issues to "Just stop", like they've never thought of that and perhaps should write it down - Just Stop. Dr. Morris genuinely looks to help, and I highly recommend him. I'm glad he helps teach other doctors, as more should be like Dr. Sheldon Morris.
