Horrible experience all the way around. Cant keep staff its just a revolving door. Saw Dr Shelly on multiple occasions and felt rushed each time. The wait times are long only to get sub par care. If you choose this place.....good luck. They dont return calls, medications take forever to get refilled, referrals dont get done. Everything is diagnosed as allergies and you are dismissed. This place is being run into the ground.

I have only been seeing Dr. Shelley for about a year but have been pleased with her level of care. It is easy to get an appointment, she asks questions and listens to your answers, and always follows up when starting new medication. I finally have my blood pressure undercontrol . She is observant, and well aware of the drug problem prevalent in this area- and doesn't write scripts that you do not medically need, or if you give off the impression that you are abusing any drugs. I recommend Dr. Shelley for anyone in the Lakehills area looking for a PCP

We have been seeing this doctor for several years. Luckily we have not needed anything other than routine check ups. Husband has a history of bladder cancer. No routine Ua. I metabolic lab only, no check on vit d etc levels. Had severely low sodium level, ER, hospital. Not even a phone call. Osteoporosis, never a bone scan. You see the pattern. Requested a low dose nerve tab, Ativan, Was treated like I was a drug seeker and wanted a drug test first. Couldn’t pee on demand , so no help here either. Currently have a severe rash/sores on my back and legs. Afraid to even go back for fear she won’t give me a referral and I can’t change docs till Jan.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Kohlleppel since her clinic opened. She is our Primary Care Physician. We find her to be excellent in every way. She is extremely caring, she asks the right questions and then takes the time to actually listen to your answers. She has been insightful with us and very pro-active in discovering major health issues at an early stage. She is informed, she is progressive and she is a forward thinker. She is community-minded. She is always upbeat and cheerful. Her office runs very smoothly. Her staff is always friendly and helpful. We have recommended her to others on many occasions. I am thankful we have her in this community.

I have been going to Dr. Kohlleppel for several years now and she is a very caring doctor. She listens to her patients. I would recommend her to many of my friends and family.

Very nice Physicians Assistant but wait time can be brutal.

Dr. Kohlleppel has been my doctor since opening the clinic in Lakehills. She has a very short temper and blames everything on allergies, which I don't even have according to an allergy specialist. After getting hurt a short time ago, I went to see Dr. Kohlleppel to check me over and make sure I had no serious injuries. She wouldn't even examine me or send me for more tests! ...instead, just her usual remedy, cold packs and aspirin. I'll never go back to her ever. She was not only inattentive but downright rude. I think her main interest is saving the insurance company's money. I also think she resents older people and anybody who questions her diagnosis and opinion even though she has been wrong on several occasions in treating me. I give Dr. Kohlleppel an F.

Misdiagnosed family member. Told her she had heartburn and prescribed heartburn meds. One week later she was in the hospital for congestive heart failure and died on the table during a quadruple bypass. Thankfully they were able to bring her back. Stay away from this so called doctor unless u just have a cold or something very simple.

Dr. Kohelleppel is very nice and has a great support staff.

I thought this doctor was caring until I questioned her. I would not recommended her to anyone. Maybe if you have just a cold or allergies she would be ok but anything more than that is well out of her league.
