Dr. Shelley Dale Kramer, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Kramer when she was still new and always had time to talk to me and cared overall about not only physical but mental health. Even after the onslaught of electronic recording, she would not stand behind the computer, but took hand notes to be input later! She has seen me through many health issues and the referrals to specialists have always been top notch! Her staff has been with her for a long time, testament to the type of work environment she provides. The referrals, prescriptions, her in house Lab (med tech) Eric is wonderful, to her nurse practitioner, Suzanne..no complaints! Were there times they were overloaded due to influx of sickness? Sure but they got me in as soon as they could and offered suggestions of what to do or take to relieve my symptoms until I could be seen! Unfortunately due to change in health insurance, I had to change doctors and affiliates...not happy! I miss the care I received from her and her office! Bonnie Maddox

Would not recommend. Left this doctor. Find another. There are wonderful MDs in central Mass who will provide better care.

She spends time with me and answers my questions, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Never had a problem with a prescription or refill

This office is on the "assembly line" of medical care now. Everything is getting way to unpersonable. Refuses to cooperate with pharmacy rapid refill programs like CVS. Can't get a refill request right. Only filled 1 out of _5_ med refill requests on same form. Never uses the telephone nay more. Always hiding behine the "Use Gateway" if you want any communications. Originally this was at least a 3-4 star doctor. Totally forgotten that patients have to be first, not Partners or some other groups assembly line type of care. Verry sad to have seen this care go so far down hill!!

I am appalled at the treatment I received at this office. The lab technical is the rudest, and of the most unprofessional people in the industry. I had called this office regarding my labs and my concerns over a test result. I called to follow up and do further testing because my result was abnormal. Instead, what I got from Dr. Kramer and her lab technician was an answer that "This test is insignificant and there is nothing to worry about" complelely disregarding the fact that I am worried about it. I am changing my PCP now!!

The only reason I stayed with this practice for as long as I did (over 10 years) was because I was not an individual prone to sickness (outside of the occasional sinus infection) and could see the Nurse Practioner for most issues (who, overall, was good). The problem became very evident in 2009, when my health took a turn for the worse. Voicing my concerns was moot; they were systematically dismissed and I was, for all intents and purposes, made to feel like a hypochondriac. Loandbehld, I actually WAS sick. Through a much needed ultrasound, it was determined that I had an infected gallbladder, laden with stones. A page to Kramer from the hospital was left unanswered for more than an hour. Months later, I returned to the doctor (less one gallbladder), feeling run down and with joint pain. It was dismissed as residual from the surgery. Turns out, through my own demands for additional bloodwork, I discovered I have developed an autoimmune disease. Were it not for my demanding… additional testing, I may still not know about the autoimmune issues.This is not a doctor who cares about her patients. This is a business to Dr. Kramer, nothing more. My hope is that other potential patients will read this and not make the same mistake as I did by putting my health in her hands. Be warned, folks.

Bad experience overall! She is very perky and seems nice but that means little when you feel that you are getting the brush off when it comes to your health care. Staff was rude to me in 2 particular occasions, told me to try over the counter stuff and when that didn't work I was told that since I was pregnant I just had to cope, and that they had no appointments avail for over a week. Turns out I did need an antibiotic which my awesome OB gave me! Then I got slapped on the hand for going to my optometrist to get pink eye stuff without the propper refferals. They still made me come in and gave me a verbal reprimand in front of the staff.

I've been going to Dr. Kramer for 23 years and she is excellent. Always spends times with patients, relaxes them - she is very thorough - I have recommended her to several friends - and they all feel the same way. Her staff is excellent - they've been with her a long time

I have been seeing Dr. Kramer for more than 5 years. I always get in to see her when I need to and have never waited longer than 5 minutes in her office. She is very knowledgeable and has been spot on every time with a diagnosis. Recently had tests done and her office notified me the next morning of results and that further tests that were needed. The office atmosphere is not the typical uptight white coat office but for me it provides a relaxed, comfortable experience.

Run, do not become a patient of this Doctor! Recently had MAJOR surgery due to the lack of interest in my condition which was never monitored for the last 9 years!
