Horrible experience with Dr. Sheene Rae Slade at Kaiser. My 20-year-old daughter went in for her first IUD and was treated with zero care or compassion. Dr. Space inserted it incorrectly, causing severe pain, then yelled at the nurse instead of taking responsibility. She reinserted it without explanation and dismissed my daughter’s pain entirely. Cold, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable behavior especially during such a sensitive procedure. Avoid if you can. There should be an option for 0 stars.

I’m 18 and came in with a severe urinary infection I had never experienced before. This provider had the soonest available appointment. The visit felt rushed, and I was already feeling scared, uncomfortable, and in a lot of pain. She used a medical instrument (speculum) during the exam that I had never encountered before, which made things even more stressful. I became very emotional during the exam, and instead of offering reassurance, she asked “why are you crying”and made comments after that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. She did not come across as friendly or empathetic. Despite my symptoms, she insisted it was my period even tho it was CLEARLY not because I was bleeding from my urethra not my vagina. As a solution she prescribed me birth control (I never used it) My condition was visibly serious, but I didn’t feel listened to or taken seriously, this was my first OBGYN experience btw.

The worst doctor I have ever seen. Horrible bedside manner. Did not take time to answer questions. Was rushing to leave the room. Not empathetic. It didn’t seem like she even read my chart before walking in the room. If you can wait for another doctor, save yourself from a negative experience.

All of the reviews below are very telling! Do not book an appointment with this doctor. I was pregnant and shortly after suffered a miscarriage. My original OBGYN doctor was not available on such short notice so I was scheduled an appointment with Dr. Slade. She is very unwelcoming, cold, rude, and does not make you feel comfortable when you are in such a vulnerable state. It was the worst encounter I have ever had with a doctor in my life.

my mother went to have her IUD removed and she was completely unprofessional and did not explain anything before doing the procedure. She broke the IUD while pulling it out and left half the IUD inside my mother. She did not apologize and told her she needed surgery to get it removed now and gave no information who to talk to. My mom is now bleeding and in pain. Save your time and money and do not go to this doctor.

This lady should not be practicing medicine. She is inconsiderate, rude, and probably better suited for something that doesn’t deal with people. She brought my daughter to tears when she should be helping young girls. I would never recommend anyone see this doctor. She should never be able to practice medicine.

If I could give her 0 stars I would. She is extremely rude. I came in very concerned and she did not make my concern any easier. She checked what my concern was about and she just brushed it off & made me feel bad for even coming in. She was very uncaring especially with such a sensitive subject. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HER. For a OBGYN, you want someone who will hear you out and actually care as this is delicate and vital us women.

Went in concerned had alot of questions, she couldn't even look at me straight, she kept responding as a question not answer please dont go to her you will be very dissatisfied.

She is a very rude doctor..forces procedures on patients..doesn’t listen to patients at all..

INCREDIBLY RUDE AND UNCARING, MAKES EVERY OFFICE VISIT A DEMEANING EXPERIENCE. Thank goodness I am not yet pregnant and have not had the misfortune of having her in a delivery room, can only imagine how awful she would make that experience. Find literally anyone else.
