Dr. Sheraj Jacob, MD

Very disappointed in this doctor and his staff. All he wants to do is sent you to Gwinnett to get an MRI. I have been a patient for the last several years and have seen him twice. I have been having terrible problems with acid reflux the last couple of weeks. Called to get an appointment and it was going to take forever. Talk to his nurse about getting medicine refilled and she said it would be called in that day. She also said he did not want to see me but wanted me to go to Gwinnett and get an MRI. This would be my 3rd one in a year that he had ordered and I don't even think he looks at them because the nurse acted like she didn't have it in the charts that I had already had two that she told me came back fine. I honestly think he is getting a kick back on sending patients to Gwinnett. Why Gwinnett, do we not have MRIs in Gainesville. I think so. Anyway I went to pharmacy to get my prescription and it was not called in. Called nurse back, left a message and it was over a week before… I got my medicine. I am changing doctors!!! If anyone knows a great Gastro doctor in Gainesville Ga, please let me know. This doctor and nurse does not care about their patients.

I have just found I have a liver disorder and need to answers to what to do and what will help preserve my liver. I tried three time to schedule and appt. with Dr. Jacob and twice ended up with a PA who said I needed to speak with the doctor. I explained this when the appt. was made I needed to see the doctor not a PA. My PPC even discussed with him my situation and he agreed to see me only to pass me on to the PA. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. waited 3 weeks for nothing. Went to Atlanta to a bigger practice and now have answers and help.
