Dr. Shereen Mohis, MD

After several visits with Dr Mohis, I found a new primary physician. She types while you’re talking and besides the standard questions, your concerns aren’t addressed

I have been seeing Dr Mohis for 4 years yet she has no idea who I am and knows nothing about my medical history except what she chooses to type in her computer. I can view my records in an app and see that all of my medical conditions aren’t even recorded, nor are my medications recorded properly. She has a heavy accent so it’s hard to understand her most of the time making communicating very difficult. I’ve been in pain management for about 8 years for conditions I have had for 8-15 years & have gone through the proper steps for my meds. I take them properly, usually less than the prescribed amount, and am randomly screened in PM, as required. Dr Mohis mentioned that she was concerned about the meds I’m taking (have been on same meds/doses since I started seeing her) but didn’t tell me she was going to call my PM doctor to yell at her and tell her to stop prescribing my meds. She also has never offered any advice, treatment or resources for alternate treatment, although I have already… tried it all. She has also now refused to continue prescribing an antidepressant that she has been prescribing me for 4 years, since I started seeing her, and told me to go to a psychiatrist which I have also already done in the past, as required. I have chronic pain and many health issues that no amount of therapy is going to change which is why I’m in PM. I also tried going off of the antidepressant to try Cymbalta and over that two week period, all I thought about was suicide so I went back to the bupropion and never went off it since. Its hard enough to live with chronic pain and the stigmas regarding pain meds. I can’t continue seeing a doctor that wants to fight the very controlled treatment plan that helps me get through the day. My PM doc agreed that I should find a new PCP that supports my treatment plan so that’s what I did. I don’t recommend Dr Mohis if you have any hearing problems or are in PM, but I guess if you are in perfect health, it really doesn’t matter who you see.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mohis for several years now and I am very happy with my care. She really listens and cares about her patients. She’s kind and very helpful with treating all my ailments as I’m aging. She makes sure I get all the necessary tests, shots, and lab work that is medically recommended. She is a popular doctor with a lot of patients to see, but she takes time to listen to each one sometimes causing her to run late. One time I was in the patient room for fifty five minutes after already waiting thirty minutes in the waiting room area. I found out she forgot about me after I went searching for the nurse to ask what’s going on but this only happened once. I have other family members who see her and like her too.

She never informed me she dropped my insurance therefore costing me thousands of dollars I could not afford. She is pharmaceutical driven and condescending!

Dr. Mohis thinks she's God, in actuality she is scum of the earth. Toying with patient's meds that they've been on for years. She has zero understanding about anxiety, severe social anxiety disorder. Frankly she only cares about her paycheck and free steak dinners as kick-backs for pushing commercial grade meds for her pharmaceutical reps.. Fu#;( her, don't waste your time with this half wit.

She was prompt, professional and kind. She answered my questions to my satisfaction and was very patient to my very busy daughter who was with me.

I went for my physical and wanted to talked about the medication I am currently on from a different doctor. So I can look for alternative as she knows my medical history. She yells back saying do you want to talk about physical or your cough as I only have limited time. Who says that??? You are my primary physician and I want to talk everything and if you don't have the time don't accept appointments. First you make me wait 45 mins then tell me you have a limited time. Would you return half of my doctor visit fee if you only have limited time to talk on one thing. I have never seen doctor this ill mannered and in so much rush. Never going back there again!

this docto is an idiot. She prescribed a combination of drugs without realizing how that combo can interact with the meds I am already on. She seems to have a nice personality on the surface, and is usually o time with appointments. But that is only if you can get in. She is booked up so far in advance I was forced to wait until a breathing problem got serious, then head to the ER. It should illelgal to allow doctors to be this booked.

I waived at the front desk for quite a while, I was completely ignored. The receptionist had her cell phone out and was texting. I left the office and then went back in after about ten min. She was still texting!!

Dr. Mohis is caring and very nice. She talks about all the options before the both of you agree on the treatment.
