Dr. Sheri Kirn Jamal, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sheri Jamal since relocating to this area about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately, my experience with her has been deeply disappointing and distressing. When I initially sought her help, I was (and still am) dealing with a complex and debilitating back injury. My spinal surgeon recommended that I coordinate with my primary care physician for appropriate medications and a more comprehensive care plan. However, when I discussed my situation with Dr. Sheri Jamal, I was met with a surprising level of hostility and dismissiveness. Instead of receiving empathetic and supportive care, I felt blamed and chastised for simply asking for the help I was directed to seek. During our appointment, Dr. Sheri Jamal became visibly overwhelmed and even raised her voice at me, making me feel like I was being a burden rather than a patient in need. This reaction was not only unprofessional but also deeply distressing, especially given the fragile mental and physical state I… was in. I also encountered difficulties obtaining routine medications, including my birth control, which was withheld unless I completed an in-person exam despite my documented mobility limitations. This added significant stress and unnecessary risk of physical flare-ups, further impacting my overall well-being. I am now in the process of transitioning to a new primary care doctor. My hope in sharing this review is that Dr. Sheri Jamal may take a moment to reflect on how her approach impacts patients—especially those dealing with serious, ongoing medical issues. Empathy, clear communication, and respect matter deeply, and I truly hope future patients will be treated with the care and professionalism they deserve.

Dr. Jamal, takes excellent care of me. I am very blessed to have her as by Doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Jamal is a wonderful doctor. She as an excellent bedside manner and is so down to earth and easy to talk to. She always remembers me and my previous visits. She gives great medical guidance and advise and shows genuine concern for my health. I recommend her fully to anyone needing a great primary physician. She also does evening appointments monthly which is great!!

I had my first visit with Dr. Jamal today. She is so confident, so approachable, you feel like you have known her forever, and so friendly. After moving to Rock Hill less than a year ago, I was very nervous about having to get a new doctor. I hit the jackpot. I could not have been more pleased. Thank you Dr. Jamal for making me feel so comfortable.
