Dr. Slezak is very kind, compassionate and understanding. She takes her time to thoroughly explain the process however, I wish I had received more written information about what to expect before and after the procedure. Basic things like whether to wear deodorant or not were not discussed and this was the first time I've undergone surgery without being prescribed an antibiotic afterwards. Overall, I'm pleased with my surgery but I am totally dissatisfied with how differently my nipples appear.

I have had severe back and neck pain for more than 20 years of my life and have begged and pleaded over the years for my doctors to help me but it was to no avail. I had recently moved to Maryland and was referred to Dr. Slezak, not really expecting anything to be different. Waiting for the usual answer "NO". She was so kind and compassionate. She explained everything that would happen whether I was approved or not. A couple of weeks later I received a call from her office stating that I was approved and I was speechless. I had been waiting for a miracle for over 20 years. The surgery was set, and on the day of surgery she explained everything to me again in detail. I was so scared and she reassured me that everything would be ok. She truly put me at ease. Hours later she came to visit me and I had some good news to report. Instantly no more back and neck aches. Thank you Lord. I am so blessed to have been sent to her, she is simply amazing. I have healed so wonderfully with barely any… scaring and no pain of any kind. I would recommend her services to anyone who is seeking to have a breast reduction done. She is simply the best.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a radical right breast mastectomy in 2002. Another plastic surgeon told me my weight prohibited me from the tram flap so he performed three attemps at saline implants, all failed and left me scarred along with my radiation. I gave up and got drastically depressed until a friend referred me to Dr. Slezak. I recently had my tram flap and I am currently in recovery but sucessfully things are going very well and I could not have found a better more caring,professional to perform my services. My only regret is that I did not meet her in 2002.

Had reduction surgery by Dr. Slezak in 2006 after lumpectomy & radiation. In 2010 MRIs showed areas of concern. Had bilateral mastectomy w/lat. flap & implants done at another Baltimore hospital which was the worst surgical experience of my life. Was able to change surgeons and have Dr. Slezak do the 2nd part of the reconstruction. Great results again by a wonderful caring doctor.

Dr. Slezak is incredible. I had bilateral breast cancer and she did the tram flap reconstruction of the left breast (mastectomy) plus a lift to achieve symmetry with the right (lumpectomy). The results are OUTSTANDING, it's like I had the reconstruction of a movie star. 10 years later I still get asked by nurses and doctors who did the fabulous reconstruction. She is incredible and such a caring doctor.
