Sherif Roman, MD

Sherif Roman, MD, is a general cardiologist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. with a focus in preventive cardiology, cardiovascular risk reduction and cardiovascular imaging.
Dr. Roman believes in partnering with patients through clear communication, evidence-based medicine and shared decision-making. He believes that helping patients better understand their cardiovascular health empowers them to make informed decisions and actively participate in their care.
Dr. Roman completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center after his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph's University Medical Center in New Jersey. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Roman has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts in cardiovascular medicine, with research interests focused on preventive cardiology, cardiovascular imaging and coronary artery disease.

Dr. Roman is board certified in …internal medicine and holds the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential. He has earned additional qualifications in echocardiography (National Board of Echocardiography ASCeXAM), cardiac computed tomography (CBCCT) and nuclear cardiology (CBNC).

Outside of work, Dr. Roman enjoys traveling, cooking, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
