Dr. Sherine Tresa Jose, DO

In my opinion, this dr. doesn't deserve a 3. 4, or 5 rating because of how she misleads her patients by insisting they come in almost monthly to get checked for whatever ailment she creates. She's slow and doesn't do what's discussed during the exam. Yes, she will be nice and do everything right on ONE or two visits so she can ask for a good review. After that, it's a different story. I don't trust her 5 ratings...shes not close to being that good...that's how i was tricked. She just relocated from her Garland office with no explanation why, and based on Google, tends to relocate her office throughout texas a lot. She also fraudulently billed me and sent it to collections because I asked her about an ear infection during my annual checkup...which she did Not address; however, felt it warranted a separate copay. Does that sound like a 3, 4, or 5 rated dr. to you? More like 0.

She has to be the most incompetent and negligent doctor that I have ever encountered! She did not listen to any of my concerns and was dismissive the entire time I was under her care. She refused to review my previous lab results from 2018 and 2017 that showed that my TSH was not in the normal range. The TSH level was actually low. She did not acknowledge the lab results when I brought them up, she did not acknowledge that my heart rate went back up to abnormal levels. Something that she said that she would look into in the upcoming follow-up visit with her. She said that I couldn't have any issue with my thyroid because my levels are currently normal, despite me still having symptoms of hyperthyroidism and my past lab work. She told me to stop taking medications for hyperthyroidism cold turkey! Which is a HUGE no-no! When I confronted her, she admitted that the medications require the person to be tapered off. Yet, she expected me to stop taking the antithyroid medication and… beta-blocker abruptly! She also said that the ophthalmologists that I went to were wrong about their diagnosis for graves ophthalmopathy and that I should get a second opinion Guess what? They were not wrong at all. She also took her sweet time responding to questions in the patient portal. Most doctors respond in a couple of days. She also took weeks to respond to my questions via the portal. One time she took up to nearly a month to respond to my question in the portal. She also messed up a prescription that I urgently needed to decrease the inflammation in my eyes. She sent an ointment instead of eye drops to the pharmacy. She should not be practicing as a doctor. Avoid her at all costs, unless you want to experience nothing but a headache and a nightmare!
