Dr. Sherma StFort Morton, MD

Went to ER because of pain and shortness of breath at 37 weeks. I was monitored for less than 15 mins was told no contractions but changed to contractions are too far apart. Was given the option to do a CAT scan to look at chest and lungs. No thanks. Not exposing my child to radiation. Left clueless, still in pain, and figuring out the shortness of breath.

Dr. Morton was great and she would make you feel like you were at home and made you feel comfortable. I would recommend this doctor to everyone I knew and I would go back to this doctor.

Dr. Morton is the best doctor I've ever had. She delivered my first born and I hope she can deliver and children I'll have in the future. She goes above asks beyond to make you comfortable, and listens to any questions or concerns. I felt so comfortable with her and in the office. I highly recommend her for any OBGYN needs.

Dr. Morton delivered my first child. She made me feel comfortable was very caring, incouraging and just kept the mood positive. She is the most people friendly dr I have ever met I would recommend her to any and everybody!

Dr. Morton is the best! She takes her time with you, so that you are comfortable with her. After a bit of talking, Dr. Morton recommended that I have a base line mammogram at 39 because of my family history of cancer (my mom passed of breast cancer). It turned out that Dr. Morton's recommendation contributed to saving my life! I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 39. Dr. Morton and my general surgeon recommended a double mastectomy and full hysterectomy. Dr. Morton has become a huge part of my life and I value her opinion, love, and support! She is fantastic! She also called to check on me at home.

Dr. Morton came to Statesville around the time we found out we were expecting our son. We decided to meet with her as the practice we visit is customarily rotating your appts with all the doctors bc you never really know who will be on call when you deliver but after the first visit with her we knew there was not another doctor for us and we were blessed to have her with us throughout my entire pregnancy and she was there to perform the C-section that brought my baby into the world!! She is a wonderfully gifted doctor but she is also kind compassionate caring and after 10 minutes with her you feel like you've known her your whole life!! We love Dr. Morton and we look forward to being with her through our next pregnancy!!

Dr. Morton is great. I was so disappointed when she left Carmel OB/GYN. I like Dr. Morton so much that I even considered making the 50 mile drive to Statesville to visit her.The Statesville area is Very lucky to have her.

Like the other reviewers, I absolutely love this doctor!!! I was tickled when I found her in May and didn't find out until today when I called to make an appointment she was gone from the practice. I would love to know where she is as well so I could continue to be treated by the best doctor I have seen in 20+ years. If anyone finds out, let us all know.

Dr. Morton is an amazing OB/GYN and I want to continue to see her...but how do I find out what happened since she is no longer at Carmel? She helped me through a really rough year with many complications- I have a lot of health issues! My file is very big! I hope all is ok with her and that she is still practicing in the Charlotte area.
