Dr. Sherolde Hackett

Sherolde Hackett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 10 years of clinical experience and more than 30 years of experience in community-based settings serving children, adolescents, women, and families. She is especially drawn to helping individuals, adolescents, young adults, women, couples, and families to gain insight into how their cultural identity has impact on their mental health and wellness. Sherolde specializes in self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief, relationships, and trauma. Sherolde completed her Master's degree in Social Work at Boston University and her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Spelman College. She is a certified yoga teacher and is trained in Instinctive Meditation. Sherolde utilizes multiple treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy (PCT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Sherolde is strong in her conviction about supporting you on your journey to self-acceptance by …collaborating with you as you gain knowledge and information that allows you to redirect and restructure your life's path on your own terms.
