I dont write reviews very often butI will in this case. I never had a personal physician until 10 years ago due to good health. When Dr. Walker diagnosed my Gullian Berre syndrome and prescribed the medication I was immediately on track to recovery. That process was about 11/2 yr. process. I then went to Vanderbilt to see head of rheumatology to discuss withdrawal from medication bringing all documents. He said I was diagnosed properly along with proper medication and dosage. He said very few doctors would have done that properly and that I was very fortunate. Her wait times can be lengthy but she is there to listen and explain sometimes say what we don't want to hear to improve our health and habits

Dr. Walker is horrible! While seeing me she talk to me with such disgust as if she was lower than me. She shouted at me and told me "I need to get a handle on things and not use my depression as a excuse." She was behind and we waited for a hour and 20 minutes. Worst service by far. Would definitely never reccomend her. Please go anywhere else.

Dr. Walker has the most patience with all her patients she listens to me she may take more time but that's okay I rather have a doctor that spends more time with me then Rush In And rush out I have multiple sclerosis and she takes the time to listen to everything that is wrong with me and helps me out in any way possible I trust her with everything

I was referred from my neurologist for a sleep study and Dr. Smith read my results. I accidentally discovered that I had narcolepsy... which actually had a lot of sense but was never expected. The dr was quite knowledgeable, the nurse nice, the front desk absurdly horrible. I had to take time of from work multiple times and get a sitter for my child because the orders needed for my sleep study weren’t sent in. I started using the clinic as a walk-in and had plans to see if my daughter could see her too. My prescriptions for regular visits weren’t sent in and the front desk wouldn’t even follow up on, just left me without meds until I when to a new doctor to get dx and a rx. The pharmacy confirmed they have issues getting scripts all the time from the clinic. I feel like a specific medication was pushed on me because pharmaceutical reps had deals with the doctor and I was brushed off and even told I couldn’t talk to the doctor about a different medication. My PA’s weren’t called in and… I had to constantly talk to my PBM, pharmacy and doctor office to try and get my medication. The pbm and pharmacy both telling my the dr office isn’t sending in the forms and I had to have them faxed multiple times. The meds weren’t a magic fix so instead of working with me for new medication, I guess I’m too much trouble to help, so I was told to find a new doctor. If you want someone who’s too busy to give you the right care and treatment and staff to overwhelmed to have customer care and follow up on paperwork then this is the right place for you! If you demand personalized care and want to be treated right and efficiently then find somewhere else to go! I got on today to see what other people said and wasn’t surprised at for the previously bad review but I experienced it too.

We have not been to an office where we felt more cared for. Dr.Walker has such a loving personality!

Dr Walker is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever known . After 75 years I have known a few . I love her as a person. Maybe sometime you have a wait ,but you can be sure she will treat you with dignity. Maybelle Barnes

is the best Dr. ever....... She spends however amount of time she needs with you depending on your situation. I you need to just be seen quickly then that is that. But, if you have a problem be assured she will address that with you. She is wonderful on follow up. She does labs at her office and that alone is a major time saver. I have been seeing her for quite a while and have a few VERY serious health problems and she is always on top of the latest procedures of medication. There is nothing that I can think of that I do not like about this Dr.

Receptionist is rude and doesn't listen to you. Office wait is ridiculous, over an hour to over 2 hours. No results after tests, if nothing wrong do you need to contact patient? She can be rude herself, apparently she doesn't like it if you know what you need, or know what's wrong... sometimes you do know what's wrong and need a prescription. I have no faith in her. I have a serious medical condition that I feel has been worsened by being her patient. I don't go to the doctor the way I should to keep other issues from becoming worse. This is my fault I know, but I have the unfortunate circumstance of living in a rural area and because of my health insurance have limited options for primary providers.

Good doctor, just too busy.
