Sherrie Marie Urena

I had been seeing Sherrie Urena for almost a year, and the experience was really frustrating. She was late to every single appointment (usually by 30–45 minutes) and never once apologized or acknowledged it. Sherrie even once no-showed without any forewarning or follow up. She often interrupted me, never seemed to respect my time, and her bedside manner was very poor. On top of that, she was basically impossible to get in touch with. She never responded to any of my emails, and after a while I just gave up trying to reach her because it felt pointless. Even the office itself is difficult to deal with… you can never actually get a real person on the phone. She also did a very poor job informing me about medication interactions in the past, which made me feel even more dissatisfied with her care (I had to find out about the side effects the hard way or someone else would tell me). The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because the appointments themselves were super short (just a… couple of minutes..which worked with my schedule considering she was always so late) But overall, I was very unhappy with the care I received. At the end of the day, I’m a person too, not just a patient, and I never felt like that was acknowledged.
