Dr. Sherry Dale Goldman, MD

Our older son. my husband & I have all seen Dr. Goldman on & off for 15 years. Many of her patients see her for outstanding medical & Rx guidance, but we have found her to be just as competent as a therapist. She helped us navigate through the tricky MCPS education system & also gave advise on transitioning to adulthood. We have all shared confidential family issues & she's been amazingly helpful @ bringing our family together without sharing confidences. Can't say enough good things about her. Highly recommend.

We started with Dr. Goldman 24 years ago when our daughter had learning difficulties and trouble in school. Over the years we have occasionally consulted her for difficult family troubles, deaths, serious illness, and life's inevitable transitions. She is not only brilliant and insightful, but also able to offer concrete, practical suggestions on dealing with life's difficulties. I don't know where our family would be without her.

Avoid Dr. Goldman. My impression after several encounters is that she is egotistical and difficult; runs hot and cold.

Dr. Goldman appeared to be interested at first, but turned out to be rigid in her approach, unprofessional and lacking empathy. She's interested mainly to push medications without devoting time to the individual's situation, and what therapies might work best along with (or without) medication.

After many years of trying and searching for a good child psychiatrist, we were finally fortunate to find Dr. Goldman. I only wish it had been sooner. She is extremely knowledgable, professional, insightful, and compassionate. What more can I say. She's the best!
