Dr. Sherry Ann Lewis, MD

We were set up for an appointment for my son. We went in and immediately was taken back by the attitude of the guy at the counter. He was very rude and condescending. His greeting was what are you here for? Seemed like a good question. I said we are here for an appointment with Dr. Lewis. The guy shakes his head and puts his hands up over his eye. and said again, what are you here for. I told him we were referred. He looks up my name and says oh, you are with DDS. I had never heard of that. I said no that is not me. He then said social security and he rudely responds that is what I said. Huh???? Well the Doctor walked it and from about 15 feet away she said no talking until you put on a mask. They proceed to ask who is the patient and he gives my son a mask and the doctor points to the door and says "you out". I asked if I could go in with him and was ignored. I walked out to my car and thought about it for a second and said no way. I was walking back into the office through the front… door but not into the second set of glass doors into the office and they guy behind the counter gets up and points out and says to my son is you dad crazy? I walked in and got my son and told them I do not deal with rude people, we are both leaving. I had zero respect for someone who deals with patients like that, and had absolutely zero trust in her as a doctor. Never have I encountered anything like this before.

Dr. Lewis may be the smartest doctor I've ever been treated by. She was very thorough in her examination and did not hurry me at.

Her staff is awful. She is rude, unprofessional, vile, and just an absolute poor doctor. I don't even understand how she is in practice.

I found Dr. Lewis and staff to be not only unprofessional, but rude and lacking of any empathy for potential patients. My experience was unwelcoming that i decided to leave without carrying out the entire visit despite an empty waiting room. not sure of the re-certification requirements for board membership, but i would question hers.
