Dr. Sherry Pittman Taylor, MD

The first time I went to see Dr. Taylor, I was impressed. The next few visits were not impressive at all. Staff is professional and friendly, but Dr. Taylor acts as if you are an inconvenience if you have any questions or concerns. She is rude, dismissive and uncaring. I’m not sure why she chose to be a doctor with her attitude towards people in general. On three separate visits, she began with, “Ok, so you have ....”. I do not have the condition she mentioned. Each time, I needed to correct her. I’m not certain whether she continued to confuse me with another patient or had simply not looked at my file (or just didn’t care to take the time to do so) each time. Either way, pretty frightening. At my last visit, (which I waited almost an hour for in a small exam room), after again stating that I have a condition I do not have, she spent about one minute with me. She rushed me out the door as I was asking a question, and rudely dismissed me, saying she was late to see another patient. Not… my fault, and the experience left me wondering why I had gone at all, and how anyone actually had the nerve to charge me for the 60 seconds she had spent with me. Do yourself a favor a choose another doctor!

I love her approach and genuine concern for my overall well being. She did my hysterectomy years ago. She did my EXCELLENT bedside manner, and trust her guidance. Never steered me wrong!

Dr. Taylor has been my provider for 5 years. I have had many questions and she is always open to answer any questions and clear up any concerns I may have. She has great bedside manner and treats everyone with respect. She gets to know her patients as well.

I have been a patient of Dr.Taylor’s over 10 years. Her new office, Alpha Omega OBGYN, is beautiful and inviting. Staff is friendly and efficient in processing. She takes the time to explain everything and lets you ask or discuss anything you want to discuss. Love the noise machine in the exam rooms to help with anxiety of examination! I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor's for over 30 years and that doesn't happen by accident. She has an incredible way of connecting and building trust with her patients. She is very in tune with each patient and understands their individual needs. Her practice at Alpha Omega is Tier One with her staff supporting her and running a well oiled front and back office. I only wish this site would allow me to give more than 5 stars as she deserves way more than 5.

Dr. Taylor will listen to your every concern. She genuinely cares about her patients.

Dr. Taylor is simply THE BEST ob-gyn I have ever had. She has almost single-handedly helped me manage the births of my two children (both c-section - first emergency) all the way to menopause and now she is still actively helping me in my breast cancer treatment. Not many doctors would call a patient from home during Christmas holidays to commiserate and advise about cancer and treatments, but Dr. Taylor did. I know I can count on her professionalism and out of the box thinking to help make my life better. Here's the bottom line: As long as I live in Atlanta and as long as I have an ob-gyn and as long as she is practicing, Dr. Sherry Taylor is the only doctor I will see.

I have known Dr. Taylor longer than my husband. She has seen me through the loss of my mother to breast cancer, marriage, 2 babies, and now perimenopause. She has always been mindful of my concerns, conservative in her approach but always clear on the facts. I would and have recommend her with the utmost confidence. Very experienced and great bedside manners. I've even trusted my own teenage daughters to her more than capable hands.

This woman was rude, impatient - she was harsh with with my teenage daughter and seemed to enjoy inflicting pain on her. Staff was not surprised at her attitude and rude treatment of us. Staff apologized for the beastly woman.
