Dr. Sherry Lynn Viola, MD

This lazy eyed ginger is trying to charge me 250$ when I got into a car wreck. Now mind you the drivers insurance covers my injuries. But guess what she still tried to charge ME fortunately she will never see a dollar from me

I was in the hospital after a bad fall for a few weeks, every time Dr.Viola paid a visit, she was rude, uncaring and full of accusations as to why I fell. She is extremely arrogant and condescending. Do not trust your loved ones with this "professional".

I was in the hospital in the fall after a bad car accident. I don't really remember why I saw Dr. Viola, but when I finally got home 8 weeks later, I received a bill from her office stating that they were going to send me to collections for non-payment. All of my bills were supposed to be covered by the driver's auto insurance company, and I was confused as to why they hadn't paid, and why, after such a short time, Dr. Viola's office would ALREADY be threatening to send me to collections (for a $250 bill and a $60 unexplained "previous charge" I hadn't even received a bill for). I called the number listed at the top of the threatening bill and was sent to voice mail (a few times). Finally, I sent a fax marked "urgent" explaining that I wanted to take care of the bill in order to prevent them from sending it to claims and, in turn, damaging my credit score. Soon after, I received a return call and paid the bill. Dr. Viola assured me that if she received payment from the insurance… company, she would send a refund. After months of waiting for said refund, I contacted the auto insurance company about the bill, frustrated that they still hadn't paid. Come to find out, they did pay the $250 the SAME MONTH I paid it. Again, I attempted to call the number listed on the bill, and, again, I was sent to voice mail. I'm not entirely sure from the bill what role Dr. Viola played in my recovery, but I do know neglecting to send a refund after double-payment is completely unethical. Hopefully, eventually, I will receive a refund for the money I paid, but it has been almost 5 months since the insurance company and I both paid the bill, so I'm not holding out much hope.

She has no office. Makes all her money from the hospitals. Billing department is corrigible. Places things in your medical file with no facts. No research. Shoddy, to say the least. Don't place loved ones in her hands. Deserves not one star.

Very caring knowledgable and focused. Would definitely trust what she has to say.. like her a lot.

Normally I do not take the time to write reviews but my experience with Dr Viola has been HORRIBLE. Dr is not responsive, their billing department or should I say the non existence of a billing department is HORRIBLE. From reading reviews from other patients it sounds like im not the only one that feels this way. Look elsewhere for another Dr.

I liked the extra time Dr. Viola spent with me and my family. Her staff greets you very kindly. They let you know in advance of your finanical obligation. I like this a lot. You are not surprise of your out of pocket expense. The office waiting room is beautiful. I highly recommend this nice office. I don't agree with the other reviews. Go see for yourself especially back and neck pain.

I had a stroke in Feb 2012 and my attending physician apparantly recruited Sherri Viola to treat me. I have great insurance. It covers me 100% in network and Beaumont Hospital is IN NETWRK but, Sherri Viola was not. I could not choose my doctor or course of treatment due to my brain injury, and I am now stuck with the out of network bills ($425). I have called Dr. Viola's office to arrange a payment and hope to get it adjusted. I have left over 5 messages and have not received one call back. Now they have sent me to collections. The collection company told me that her office was nasty to them and that they didn't know how else to help me. I would like to say also that I own an insurance agency and fight claims for people all day long. I have never been treated so bad by a medical office! The doctors that work at this office are uncaring, terrible people. All they care aobut is getting paid- and my experience along with the other terrible reviews shows that they probably get… paid for doing a bad job most of the time. Stay away-far far away from these terrible doctors

I waited 1hr and 40 min. for this dr. The girl at the front desk does everything including your bp and history so if she dissapears she is in a room w/ a patient.I liked Dr. Viola but I was coming for a 2nd opinion and she didn't look at my mri or x-rays. She did spend a lot of time with me. Watch out if you need forms filed out. That's and extra $20.
