Summary

This was followed by a residency in internal medical at DC General Hospital (Georgetown Medical Service) and a residency in pathology at Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia. He also completed a fellowship in nephrology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Foster is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. A patient admitted to Holy Family for medical reasons (not including surgery or childbirth) who does not have a primary care physician or a primary care physician who practices at Holy Family, will be assigned a hospitalist who manages care for the duration of the hospital stay. Hospitalists work out of the hospital and do not see patients in an office setting.
