Dr. Sherwin Abe Yaffe, MD

Dr. Yaffe has the best bed-side manner and is very accesible. He zeroed in on my problems in a short time and was able to come to a solution that helped me tremendously. His hypnosis skills are amazing. I'm so grateful to have found such an excellent psychiatrist. Thanks to Dr. Yaffe, I am much healthier, and under his continued care, I know I will continue to be healthy.

Dr. Yaffe is an excellent diagnostician. I had been to several physicians without much success and was feeling pretty hopeless. He came highly recommended, so I decided to make an appointment with him. Doctor Yaffe spent quality time with me and helped me in getting the effective medication that I needed. I now enjoy a better quality of life. It is nice to have a doctor who really listens to my problems.

Dr. Yaffe is, by far, incompetent as a mental health specialist. In his "care", I felt completely beside myself in dealing with the very difficult symptoms that I was experiencing. Upon my expressing my thoughts on receiving little to no help, he became condescending and even more withdrawn. My experience was psychologically more harmful than helpful. The only benefit I received from being in his "care" is that I was forced to better understand and cope with my illness. It was a very difficult time for me however, I truly hope to be better because of it. I sincerely hope that individuals experiencing psychosis or other very painful symptoms do not seek the assistance of this man as he is, by far, unqualified to handle such cases.
