Dr. Ely graduated with a Microbiology degree from the University of Florida then went on to complete dental school at UF.She was in the dental field as a dental hygienist for 11 years prior to returning to school. She and her husband, Troy, have one daughter and one son. She is an avid Florida Gator fan and has a room in her house dedicated to the Gators! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, meeting new people, and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities.
