Dr. Sheryl E Goltra

Sheryl Goltra, D.M.D.
Dr. Sheryl E. Goltra was born in Greenwood, SC and grew up in Columbia. She holds a doctorate in dental medicine from MUSC.  She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is Board Certified.  She completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati and a fellowship in pediatric dentistry with emphasis in anesthesia. 
Dr. Goltra has a BS degree in pharmacy from the University of South Carolina. She practiced pediatric dentistry from 1987-1989 in Cincinnati. Her many areas of interest include cleft lip and palate, and pediatric sedation. She is married and is the mother of three children. She welcomes any questions you may have about treatment, fees, office policies, or your child's dental development.
THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY is the only recognized specialty board in pediatric dentistry.  The status of Diplomate is awarded to a professional who has a significant period of …clinical experience and has completed a rigorous examination.  A small percentage of pediatric dentists in the U.S. have achieved this distinction.

Dr. Goltra serves on the medical staffs of Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Trident Medical Center. Should your child need treatment in a hospital setting, our
staff will inform you of special arrangements to be made with the hospital.
