Dr. Sheryl Marie Hakala, MD

Dr. Hakala is very kind but undependable. It is often impossible to reach her as she answers her own calls and her voicemail is often full and she does not return texts. You only have her attention when you are have an appointment with her that you are paying her for.

Strings patients in need along, extorting money for meds. Makes patients wait in dark parking lot,while she Skypes with other patients. Holds any credit card info.,beware!

Dr. Hakala has been available on an as needed basis and has managed medications as well as brought me through difficulties in which further assistance was needed.

The absolute worse "Dr." I have ever seen. She absolutely will not reply to any attempt to contact her.

Her office space is very cluttered and messy. She comes across as a very nice lady but she needs to hire people to clean her office. I am shocked that she would invite patients into such a mess.

Dr. Hakala is a warm, compassionate and caring physician. She made feel at ease. It was like talking to an old friend from college. She truly cares about her patients and the treatment plans she designs for them. I would highly recommend Dr Sheryl for anyone that may be going through a difficult time in their life. She is the best!

She is a rude and unprofessional. For the amount of money to see her is a waste. Her office is rundown and gross.

Dr. Sheryl Hakala is by far the most effective and caring healer I have encountered in 20 years. She is willing and capable of helping any person whom is willing to do the work associated with their particular discomfort. The guiding factor (which in my experience is profound empathy while maintaining clear boundaries) is clear to me, and has been for multiple years. Dr. Sheryl Hakala is, in my opinion, a true giver, an honest healer, and also consistent in her approach to best serve the needs of each parient. I am grateful for this wonderful woman being a part of my life. I have tried many ways to overcome PTSD. Sheryl is the one Doctor who has reached out in every way to assist my growth in this area. Not only is she a Doctor, she Cares.

Dr. Hakala has truly helped my family with prompt appointments, and many ways of communication. Her knowledgebase is incredible, and has quite frankly kept my family together with med management and counseling. She is a 15 on a scale on 1 to 10. I could not be happier with her flexibility on medication options, appointments, and communication. She truly cares. I am a long time beneficiary of her treatment with my family! Looking at these other reviews, I have to think they are confused. We have been under her care for several years and I have never once thought she was money hungry or nodding out as one person said. We love her and she is an answer to our prayers!
