Dr. Sheryl Ann Hausinger, MD

If you don't care about your child, take them to this Dr. She is unable to see symptoms, that are screaming out at her and make a correct diagnoses. My Grandson is dead because of her incompetence. The neurosurgeon at Texas Children's hospital wanted my Daughter to sue so, she would loose her license and be unable to let another child die. Her apology was inadequate, when you are holding your dead Grandson in your arms.

To make this short. I would never use her again. She is an alarmist. There can be a lot of little things I might not like about her. But the last straw was when she sent my child for spinal tap. My child had a fever at 6 months. She assumed it was a bacterial meningitis and wanted us to go to the hospital to get the spinal tap. Scared us to death. When we questioned her, in so many words, she let us know, that she would report us to child services if we refuse to go. After spending the whole night with the sick crying child at Children's we finally were be able to question the doctor there. Thank goodness he was decent enough and didn't rely on Dr. Hausingers opinion. He didn't see the need to do the spinal tap based on the history of her illness and exam. Three days later my child had her first tooth out. That was terrifying experience. This doctor is trying to protect herself by sending you and your child to the emergency room every time versus protecting your… child,having expert opinion, and acting in the interest of your CHILD.

Dr. Hausinger is a brilliant pediatrician. When my daughter was 3 1/2 months old she quit eating and was sleeping about twenty hours a day. I brought her into Dr. Hausinger's clinic and after listening to her heart, Dr. Hausinger admitted her for CHF. I'm so thankful for Dr. Hausinger making the right decision, otherwise my daughter may not have lived. I am very confident in Dr. Hausinger's abilities as a pediatrician; her bedside manner is full of gentleness and grace. She has been my daughter's pediatrician for almost four years now, and I would highly recommend her!

Highly recommend Dr. Hausinger! She has cared for both our children since 2006 and is a wonderful doctor.

My family has used Dr. Hausinger for the past 13 years (5 children). She is wonderful! She takes time with us, answers our questions, and really cares about her patients. She always remembers the kids, and any issues they may have had. Very inteligent! We trust her, and can rely on her 100%. I recommend her to all my friends!
