The best of THE BEST! Dr Ghofrany truly cares and invests in each of her patients. I've been going to the practice for 12+ years after moving from a Greenwich practice and so grateful to have found them. They have delivered two of our children and each time made us feel so comfortable and truly cared for. Dr Ghofrany takes the time to listen to her patients needs...she's patient, kind, empathetic, thorough and brilliant! Her partners are equally great! HIGHLY recommend Dr Ghofrany and the entire practice!

Shieva is the one and only doctor I feel comfortable with and actually get excited to see. She has a miraculous way of easing your nerves and makes you feel like you're chatting with a girlfriend over coffee. Everyone that works there - staff, nurses, ultrasound tech, doctors... they are all extremely down to earth and actually enjoy their jobs. I can't recommend Dr. Ghofrany and her practice enough. You won't realize what a difference there is between this practice and others until you experience it yourself.

All of the doctors at Coastal OBGYN are fantastic. I've been a patient for over 2 years, recently delivering my first child with the practice. Dr. Ghofrany delivered our baby and she was so supportive and reassuring through the entire process. She never makes you feel dumb for asking a question and she was very helpful in recommending pediatricians and other health care providers. We had a great birth experience because of our wonderful nurses (thank you Stamford Hospital) and our extremely competent, caring Doctor (thank you Dr. Ghofrany).

Office staff is HORRIBLE! I have never spoken to such rude people! Answering service is no better. Apparently patients calling is considered 'bothering' the staff. No matter how good a doctor is, she will lose patients with this staff. They need training in customer service STAT!

Dr Ghofrany is a doll , Very sweet and easy to talk too . Seems to care about her patients . But this new office was not a good experince . The spanish woman ( sorry i didnt get her name ) that anwered the phone this morning was Rude and nasty on the phone . When i called her for my results she basically scoled me . This after being put on hold for ten minutes and brushed off about my pap results from 3 weeks ago . Perfect example of a great dr , with Poor help . If shes as smart as I think she is Dr Ghofrany will get a new receptionist and hire someone to run her phones an office that talks to people with kindess and respect . This is a Drs office dealing with womans health issues .

I liked Dr. Ghofrany a lot for her professionalism and bedside manner; she was very attentive and answered all my questions without rushing. However, once I got pregnant, I was told I could not have her as the primary doctor, and had to rotate with the other 4 doctors in the practice (all male). I wasn't quite comfortable with that and had to find another OBGYN for my pregnancy; I understand that 'rotation' offers some benefits, but being the 1st time expectant mom I was hoping to have a dedicated doctor who'd be able to have a more personal exprience with me, tracking my progress and, hopefully, delivering the baby.
