Summary
Dr. Hsu received his medical degree and completed his residency at the National Taiwan University Hospital. He completed his specialty training in rehabilitation medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and went on to fellowship training in spinal cord injury and brain injury rehabilitation at Craig Hospital. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Hsu served as Medical Director of the Neurotrauma Unit at Swedish Hospital between 1984 and 1986. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Hsu has extensively researched tracheal and esophageal complications in spinal cord injury. Dr. Hsu's spinal cord injury team recently was chosen to pilot the development of SCI Critical Pathways for the hospital.
