Dr. Shilpa M Joglekar, MD

Dr. Joglekar rushes through appointments. She isn’t attentive when listening to issues and concerns, and doesn’t make me feel heard. Some of the medical advice she’s given is very confusing and not applicable. If you are a woman, do NOT go to her for Pap smears. Was not done correctly and was extremely painful (never painful anywhere else).

I called the office( I see another dr there) to go for urine test since was experiencing UTI symptoms ( it wasn’t first time that I went there for urine test), they couldn’t rule out if there was an infection so they just sent antibiotic to the pharmacy in case there is an infection. I asked if I can just ask my dr if it’s wise to take the antibiotic or wait for the test results. They told me my internist left so I need to ask this dr ( Joglekar), she came in & quickly said it’s up to me to take it or wait until the lab results are in, she spent less then 5 min, I thought it’s was just a question answer type no visit was done, she didn’t do any thing ( none)& she quickly left the room didn’t even want to stay longer & answer any other question. About 1.5 month later I receive a bill from the office that dr charged me for office visit. Called the office talk to billing raised my concerns, talk to front desk & they all told me this is an office visit & u were on schedule & there is… an office visit note from the dr. I never had an office visit scheduled & when Dr.Joglekar's walked in she acted like she is just answering my question nothing more then that.

Sheis primary to many in my family and we trust ner. She is a good doctor and her staff loves her.

run away, dont walk. you must fill out her personal questionaire, if u dont u will be sorry, its her own personal crap

So far, the best Dr. I've had. Took time to talk, was really sharp (engaged in conversation- didn't seem to be guessing or over thinking), and overall her demeanor comes off friendly yet confident. I'd recommend her to anyone!
