Dr. Shiqiang Tian, MD

Was very nice and explained quite a bit to me. Will always be my Doctor.

Dr Tien and University Orthopedics have been consistently excellent throughout several issues I've had to deal with in recent years.

It was a pleasure meeting Dr Tian. My appointment with him was to discuss my options in dealing with long term lumbar chronic pain. His PA indicated that he was finishing a review of my recent MRI and EMGNCV studies sent to his office by the referring doctor. He arrived shortly after. We discussed the objectives I wanted to accomplish at the appointment. He listened and then told me what he would do for me. I had additional questions. He made his rational clear in several ways for the option he preferred to treat my chronic pain. He provided me with a pamphlet showing how to obtain additional info on his recommended treatment. If I wanted to go forward in his care I was given a contact person in his office to call to start the process.

Seemed a bit of a language barrier. Was told the dr would discuss all non surgical options with me. Dr only wanted to perform invasive procedures that’s what he does injections and radio frequency. Was able to discuss the benefits of other treatment such as chiropractic or software therapy. Left felling like he wasn’t listening to me and did t care about my opinion. Stated of if I didn’t want to follow his recommendations I should just go back to work (after I stated I didn’t think I was ready)and see how that works out for me. I left disillusioned. and angry as neither one of us knew from that point whether he was my Dr who would be writing me a note to stay home or return to work.

I saw Julie. She was very helpful and totally understood my problems and situation.

My visit today at University Orthopedics with Dr. Tian was a pleasure. Dr. Tian took his time to listen to my concerns, he spent a good amount of time with me. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr Tian made me feel very comfortable he is very nice to talk to and explained everything to me that was going on I am more than happy with this Dr.

Answered all questions. Thorough and not rushed at all.

Easy appointment, pleasant staff. Dr Tian was easy to talk to and set me up with an MRI and then an injection in my lower back. It took all of the neurological symptoms. Which was a life saver. I can call him if I need more help.
