Dr. Shiree C Flume, MD

I had been on the search for someone whom I felt comfortable with for a long long time. Simply put - great new beginnings with this dialog.

I've read other reviews about Dr. Shiree Flume and wanted to let others know of my positive experience. I've been her patient for many years and have always found her to be professional, kind and it's easy to talk with her. She always helps me to feel comfortable, listens well and considers my opinions. She has never been inappropriate in any way or I wouldn't keep seeing her. The other reviews I've read don't sound at all like the Dr. Flume I know!

I had few problems with her as far as prescribing and diagnosing but wish I would have filed a complaint with Texas Medical Examiners on her. If you get on the bad side of this doctor, having nothing to do with missing appts or not being compliant on meds(I'm a good patient)well, let me say this. I was yelled at for stating my opinion. And it happened more than once. I've seen 6 psychiatrists and many therapists over the decades. Never, ever saw anything like her. I get mad all over again just writing this.

I went to this doctor for a long time. She knew I was drinking and prescribed 3 different drugs at high doses. I am lucky I am not dead! All sorts of terrible things happened. Once I got off all the meds, I was fine. Sometimes people are having a temporary life change or crisis and are not depressed. I needed help coping, not massive amounts of medication.
