Dr. Shirin Noor Ali Mohammad, MD

Dr. Mohammad impressed me on our first visit! I’m 66 and have health issues. I loved that she had read all the medical history she was provided. She was able to focus in on what was most important quickly. She really listened. While no big changes to my overall health plan were made I think she will be someone I can trust to make sure I get what I need from an Internist, excellent med management, needed tests, and encouragement. She recommended I seek counseling for depression and that I swim more. These are things I knew I needed to do and she gave me the big nudge I needed. I liked her a lot.

This is the WORST doctor on the planet! Does not listen, her diagnosis can be equated to looking up advise on the internet. Comes into the exam room goes straight to the computer and pays no attention to the patient. Wait times are not a problem, probably because she has no other patients before you. Think "take two aspirin and call me in the morning" was a punchline? Go see Mohammed and find out.

She is friendly and very encouraging. However, sometimes I say things just to test if she is listening and more times than I like she is not. She does not summarize your concerns, so if you don't make a checklist you will walk out without getting her to address all of your concerns. While I like her bedside mannerism, I do think this is my last years with her.

Dr. Mohammad is very pleasant to deal with overall and appears to be caring, but she skims over details when I am trying to explain a health problem I am having, and she makes assumptions without knowing the facts. She is also very reluctant to give a referral, which I find extremely frustrating. She tends to forget to do things she says she will, such as write out a script or give you an informational brochure, etc. You have to be very alert to what you are walking out with, or you will find that she has forgotten something. My main complaint is her solution for everything is to prescribe more medication. When I asked how we might decrease the amount of medications she has me on by alternative methods, she gave me no suggestions or answers. You can't cure everything with a pill!

Does not like to make referrals, only one problem per appointment please. Please don't ask her to complete forms for disability insurance.

I have been seeing Dr. Mohammad for the last 3 years and she has been there for me right from the start. I have absolutely no complaints on her and she has never misdiagnosed me on any health matter. I do recommend her and even my husband has started with her as his primary doctor.

dr seems to be friendly enough but her staff isnt she has an old lady at her reception desk thats beyond rude, he medical assistants always seem to be there then gone, she must hire them right out of school because they never seem to know what theyre doing and their tattoos and odor or cigarette smoke give a very bad impression
