She came in to see my son, who was calmly watching a cartoon on my phone after having cried his eyes out when they checked his vitals and throat, and said to put the phone away. Not even a hello. She introduced herself quickly and did not bother asking my name. She heard me speaking English and still asked me if I spoke English. When my son dropped the amethyst stone he likes to carry, she said “well you have to wash that now since it fell.” Thank you, Captain Obvious. She won the lottery and has written a book (with terrible reviews), and seems to have really gone to her head. She seems very educated, but she looks a little brittle and I think it’s time for her to retire. Just a little bit of kindness goes a long way, but she’s had none to spare for my three year old. She needs to go.
